Reality Hack is an AI real-world mission game that generates short, safe missions for entertainment and creative exploration.
Data stored on your device
Reality Hack stores mission history, mission notes, streak state, generation diagnostics, permission initialization state, and optional evidence photos on your device by default.
Data sent for AI generation
When you request a mission, the app may send a short mission-generation summary to a Supabase Edge Function, which calls OpenAI on the server. The app is designed not to send raw photos, full photo libraries, raw microphone recordings, contacts, private documents, or precise location history to the AI service.
Permissions
Reality Hack may request access to camera, microphone, photos, location, motion, media library, and notifications. These permissions support optional immersive features. You can deny permissions and still use safe fallback missions. You can change app permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
Purchases
Reality Hack uses Apple In-App Purchase and RevenueCat to process and verify Pro access. Purchase processing is handled by Apple. RevenueCat may process purchase entitlement data needed to unlock paid features.
Third-party services
- Supabase, for server functions and summary-only generation logs
- OpenAI, for AI text generation
- Apple, for App Store distribution, platform permissions, and in-app purchases
- RevenueCat, for purchase entitlement verification
Safety
Reality Hack should never require dangerous, illegal, humiliating, or privacy-invasive actions. Any mission can be skipped.
Reality Hack does not provide medical, psychological, legal, financial, or emergency advice.
